Whispering Sands Horse Play Centre Facilities.
Whispering Sands in Bullsbrook is purpose designed for the natural horse manship enthusiast, as well as the more traditional horse riding equestrian.
It is well equipped for many horse play and horse riding activities. There are various areas for the Equine Assisted Counselling and Learning sessions, utilised depending on the client and their needs.
There is a fun playground that comprises of different 'toys' (Jumps, tyres, ramps, logs, to name a few.) designed to help horses, and their humans, get smarter, calmer, braver and more athletic, as well as being good fun to play with.
There is a 65x25m arena with an all weather surface, and a mirror, perfect for practising dressage movements as well as for horse riding of any sort. The all weather surface is perfect in winter when other arenas are flooded or too slippery in winter.
There is a 'play pen' area, 4 x 15m round yards encircled by an even larger round yard. This can be used for liberty of varying levels, as well as for riding green horses or for unconfident riders to gain confidence while horse riding..
There is also another round yard that is 25m.
There is the 'Arena Grande', a 40m x90m enclosed area thats great for many different riding practices..
There is ample space for float parking, that adjoins 12 steel panel yards that are 6mx6m. These are suitable for day or night horse accomodation with tall shady trees.
There is also a further 8 yards that are 14mx14m, more spacious, especially if horses want to 'sleep over'.
THE SHED
The Shed has 2 air conditioned bedrooms with 3 beds in one, and a double sofa bed in the other, for shared accomodation. It has a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge room with tv and video. There is a 'theory area' complete with chairs, tables, whiteboard etc. There is also a second ablution block with 2 more toilets and shower.
HIRE
You can hire Whispering Sands for visiting instructor clinics, or individual arena hire, or facility hire. Some people book the shed or horse yards as handy, cheap and cheerful accomodation for events at Brigadoon and Brookleigh as these are just 15 minutes away (20 minutes by float).
